Nobody asks their customers anything right after they buy. Now you can, on Shopify.

Your customers were always willing to share. Their checkout page was not.
A question with nowhere to go
A customer who has just bought is the easiest person in your business to talk to. They have already decided, they have nothing left to do and they are still looking at your store; the perfect time to ask them about their opinion. But there are obstacles.
The Thank you-page belongs to the checkout, and the checkout belongs to the theme. So asking one question there required a developer, a theme edit and a deploy. The survey went on the list and stayed there.
Earlier this month we shipped Primefold XI · Checkout Survey on the Shopify App Store. The integration lets you add a survey on the post-checkout page without touching a line of theme code. It also asks on every order, not on a list of people who opted into a newsletter three weeks ago. That is the difference between a survey you remember to run and one that runs. Easy questions, answered in a few clicks, turn into reliable signals .
Switching it on
The survey still gets built in Primefold XI. What changed is everything after that.
It installs as a checkout app block. No theme code, no developer, no deploy. You drop the block onto the thank-you page and choose which survey runs there.
It looks like your store. Columns, button text and placeholders are yours, set in the same drag-and-drop editor you built the survey in.
Answers arrive while the customer is still on the page. Sunday, the agent inside Primefold, reads responses as they arrive and returns the themes, the strongest drivers and the recommendation that follows, in the Insights Hub.
The app is free to install. The survey itself is built in Primefold XI, on a trial or on a plan.
Working inside someone else's checkout
The hard part was not the form.
“A checkout extension runs inside Shopify's own sandbox. We cannot inject our markup, so the survey has to render through their block system and still come out looking like your store rather than ours. That took most of the build.”

The other constraint is attention. The survey sits next to an order confirmation, and the customer is one tap from closing the tab. So the real limit is not how the survey looks, but how many questions you have earned. Two questions you will act on beat six you will not.
The color nobody planned to make
DIRTS ran this exact survey after checkout, asking which color to produce next.
Sage Green won, ahead of the core basics. It has sold at Navy level in their bestselling T-shirt ever since, and revenue on it came in 500 percent above the color they would have chosen on instinct, same period and category.

Then there was Lavender. It was on no shortlist and it was not an answer option, and 30 percent of the open answers asked for purple anyway. DIRTS ordered it. It outsold Oat Milk, their previous best accent color, two to one from day one.
No dashboard would have found that, because nobody had thought to ask. A closed question can only hand back the options you already had. That is why the open answer is built in, and why the survey belongs on the page where the customer is still paying attention.
